How are woman's rights also men's rights?

Women's rights are also men's rights in the way that the rights women have also apply to men.  It has been said that "all men and woman are treated equally" but in reality that statement is false.  Women may be able to get a job a man can have, but they might not be getting paid as much to do the same work.  Men and woman may be aloud to vote, have the right to freedom and all that, but there are some rights that are not shared equally. Men have most of the seats in parliament, and are generally more wealthy. So to say that men have the same rights as women, is totally different from saying that women have the same right as men.  Men also now share that right to maternity leave, not just women anymore.  Throughout the years women's right have come a long way, but it is still not totally equal like it should be.  Men and women also share some common issues such as being a homosexual, since they are treated unfair and are working hard to change that.  Both women and men should be equal in all ways possible; politically, economically, and socially.
