Police had enough to get a warrant for Pickton in 1998: MY RESPONSE

Robert Pickton is facing charges for the murder of several women.  In 1998 it is said that the police had enough evidence to get a search warrant, Robert Pickton was also earlier charged with attempt of murder when he picked up a prostitute in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, who managed to escape and flag down a passing car.  The police had found ID of missing woman and bloody clothing.  There was lots of talk about who had the jurisdiction in getting the search warrent, if it was the VPD or the RCMP.  It is still unknown why it took so long to convict Pickton of the murders, but its good that he is in jail now and can't hurt any more women.
